Twisted Green was conceived in 2008 when, as a stay-at-home mum with two children aged 1 and 3 years I began to think about rejoining the workforce but the hours and finding suitable child care didn't seem to fit with my career before children.

While having the kids I completed a Small Business MYOB diploma with the idea of starting an at home business - I wanted to find work that fitted around the children’s school timetable though still challenging and fulfilling.

Our daughter Olivia has had severe reactions to foods and chemicals since infancy. She is the guiding light for the philosophy behind Twisted Green. Olivia’s health issues meant thorough investigation into every product she consumed or contacted - foods, clothing, washing and cleaning products, skin care creams and lotions.

My constant research evolved into an interest in organic foods, natural fibre and educationally based chemical free toys and sharing my research knowledge with friends.

Twisted Green felt like a natural progression as I'd already sourced a lot of the merchandise through my rigorous investigation.

My business concept places emphasis on stocking products made from recycled materials free from harmful chemicals, natural fibre clothing and educational toys - all manufactured by environmentally conscious companies that do not exploit children.

Twisted Green developed into unique age specific children’s gift packs because I believe all the treasures I have found should be accessible in a practical, cost effective way.

The ever increasing eco merchandise range specifically for children is constantly increasing and improving. We look forward to finding and stocking all these products.
